Terrance (Terry) Dennis graduated early from the University of Missouri in December 2011 with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies [Communication, English and Black Studies].  Terry is a proud member of the Mizzou 2012 Independence Bowl Champions.

Gifted with great hands, long arms and size he has the potential to be a great possession receiver.  Terry is a very reliable receiver who can work defenses anywhere on the field. He is very good at the point of attack and displays great aptitude at beating press coverage.  Whether it is using his hands to disengage or simply shielding defenders away from the ball, Terry can separate from his man in short spaces.  Blessed with long arms and the ability to climb the ladder, he can make plays on deep balls.  He is not blessed with elite speed, but can adequately challenge corners down field as evidence by his 4:17 Pro Agility and 37.5" Verticle.

Durability and character are of no concern for prospective NFL teams.  At the next level, he projects as a very good No. 2 receiver.  Terry has been training hard to improve his lower body strength to become a plus blocker and increase speed.

Given his size and frame the potential is there for Terry to have a very good NFL career.

2011 SEASON: Terry entered fall camp as a backup to returning starter at the Long Snapper position, while working into the mix as a Z-receiver.

2010 SEASON: Continued his valuable contributions to the team as a long snapper/special teams player & weekly preparations as an offensive team player.  Mizzou advanced to a 10 win 3 loss season and a bid to the Insight Bowl.

2009 SEASON: Provided his services throughout the season in several areas, including the long-snapping duties! Also proved himself as a receiver, as he made more plays during the year, and he stood out during bowl game practices, giving the Tiger defense some good looks while making impressive receptions during scrimmaging situations. Texas Bowl

2008 SEASON: Continued his valuable contributions during the year as a reserve wide receiver, as well as a primary backup for the long snapping duties. Saw action against Nevada.

2007 SEASON:  Earned a spot on the University of Missouri Football team as a walk-on and red-shirted his freshman year.  Terry Dennis was an accomplished long snapper in high school, playing for one of the state’s top prep programs.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Played on powerhouse Raymore-Peculiar High School team that won three consecutive Missouri Class 5 State Championships in 2004, 2005 and 2006.  Terry was the team’s primary deep snapper for his three years on varsity, and also played as a reserve wideout.  He lettered three times each in the sports of basketball and track and field. Was a contributing member of the 2004 conference Championship Team in hoops, and won All-Conference honors in the high jump, triple jump and hurdles in Track & Field.
