Chester L. Banks is an SMWW Agent Advisor who has successfully been mentored by Dr. Lynn Lashbrook, meeting all the necessary requirements to become an Agent Advisor. This includes completing the Athlete Management Course, taught by Joe Corry, CBS Take Writer, and former Sports Agent. This course equips aspiring sports agents with the skills, strategies, and knowledge required to represent professional athletes across various sports, including the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, MLS, FIFA, Olympics, extreme sports, women's sports, and international sports.

In addition to his training in athlete management, Chester is certified in NIL – Name, Image, and Likeness, a course taught by Marc Isenberg. This certification provides him with strategies to facilitate successful partnerships between college athletes and brands, helping athletes monetize their name, image, and likeness while continuing to play the sport they love.

A native of Franklin, Virginia, Chester graduated from Franklin High School in 1977. He pursued higher education at Chowan University in North Carolina, where he earned an Associate degree in 1979. Chester then attended Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas, where he earned a double degree in Economics and Religious Studies. In 1981, Chester was introduced to Tom Vandergriff, the retired mayor of Arlington, Texas, who encouraged him to continue his graduate studies in California. Chester went on to earn a Master’s degree in Urban-State-Federal Governance from Golden Gate University in San Francisco in 1983.

Chester then returned to Virginia to pursue a law degree at George Mason University School of Law. He has been a member of the Virginia State Bar since October 1987 and the District of Columbia Bar since February 2014. With over 34 years of experience as a trial attorney, Chester also serves as the Pastor of the Abundant Life Church in Manassas, Virginia, a position he has held since 2006.
