Maikel Tsuji is a FIFA-licensed soccer agent, global football consultant, and the Director of Soccer Operations at Sports Management Worldwide (SMWW). With over two decades of experience in the international football industry, Maikel is a trusted mentor to aspiring agents and a respected expert in global player representation.
Born and raised in Amsterdam, Maikel developed his skills through elite youth soccer academies in the Netherlands and went on to play professionally for eight years across Holland, Spain, and the United States — including time in Major League Soccer (MLS). After relocating to the U.S., he earned his degree in Business Management from Hawaii Pacific University.
As a licensed FIFA agent, Maikel has successfully negotiated contracts for both men’s and women’s players in leagues around the world, including the MLS, USL, English Premier League, and a wide variety of international leagues, from elite clubs to developing markets. His experience working with players from both top-tier and emerging leagues gives him rare insight into the global soccer ecosystem.
At SMWW, Maikel serves as the lead mentor for several core courses, including the Soccer Agent Course, FIFA Agent Prep Course, and Soccer GM & Scouting Course. He has advised and trained hundreds of aspiring agents, helping them launch and grow careers in player representation, talent scouting, contract negotiation, and compliance with FIFA and domestic regulations.
