Antonio Davis is rated as one of the best players in Urbana’s history.  He can play inside

or outside, depending on the match up he had, but it didn’t happen without hard work.

In college, Antonio had taken on the role of a team leader, being the captain of this team.

His ability to get position in the post makes him one of the best in the business.  Antonio,

because of his small stature, worked hard last summer to become more than just a post

player.  Antonio has challenged himself and made himself a better player.  Antonio spent

most of his time working on his shot and continues to focus on his ball-handling ability.

Antonio has improved his jump shot by 80 percent.  Antonio could always shoot, but he’s

more consistent with that outside shot.  Antonio can hit from the outside and maneuver

well in the paint with his spin moves, despite being double and triple-teamed. Antonio has

a great vertical leap and arm span allowing him to rim tip ins.  Antonio is also a beast on

the defensive end, whose defensive tactics were sharpened under his college coach, Paul

Bryant.  Antonio has averaged over eight rebounds per contest, and he’s usually matched

up against the opponent’s best player.  Antonio is virtually unguardable.  Antonio has played

the past two season in Peru, and in Mexico he has been the best foriegn player in the league.

And while Playing in Peru his First 2 seasons we was MVP of the all-star and  runner-up in the 3

point contest, now Antonio has worked on his game each off season and improved variety of

ways to help his team win as well as to put the ball in the hoop.
