When I get on the court, I provide anything the coach and team needs. I am very well conditioned and a pure student of the game and I am always willing to learn more. I am a complete work horse in the gym because hard work really does pay off. Unfortunately, I could not play college basketball because of very personal family issues that needed my complete attention, but I did graduate and obtained my Bachelor’s in Psychology. Player Type: I can take the ball to the lane at will, and a jump shot with great range which can diffuse opposing teams. I have great vision on the court, especially with the pick-and-roll. My ball-handling skills are exceptional, but with the right timing and work ethic, they will be better. I may have been known to score and pass the ball, but my defense and rebounding is considered to be the best, yet overseen quality. I have faced plenty of guards bigger than me in height and weight, and struggled to create a play because of my defense and hustle. He has an outstanding attitude and work ethic, in excellent condition (runs all day). His height is a bit of a deterrent but his quick release results in him getting shots against taller players. Also he plays intense pressure defense, quick hands and stays in front of his man.
-Barry L. Mestel President/CEO Winning Ways International www.winwayspro.com I have had the privilege of watching Jean over the last 2.5+ years play in a very competitive NYC basketball league that I help run-NY Urban Professionals. It's a league that consists of about 1200 players’ city wide of all different skill sets and Jean himself is playing in the top two competitive divisions that we offer. Having played college basketball myself at George Mason University in Virginia for three years, I have a good understanding of not only what makes a good ball player but also a good person. Jean has very well off the ball instincts and is relentless on the defensive end. Offensively, I've seen his game improve dramatically from taking what the defense gives him, and making smart decisions with the basketball- whether that be pulling up for a mid range jumper or passing off to a teammate. He seems to get better each possession as the game wears on. Having led his team to the playoffs each of the last two seasons, there is definitely a leadership quality that he provides while encouraging his teammates from start to finish. In my opinion, if you're looking to represent someone who exemplifies hard work, a positive attitude and good character both on and off the court, then Jean is someone you cannot pass up. -Kee Seymore NY Urban Professionals Kseymore23@gmail.com |
