Michael’s journey into hockey representation was shaped by hands-on mentorship from NHLPA Agent Rick Curran and SMWW’s own Dr. Lynn Lashbrook. A graduate of SMWW’s Hockey GM & Scouting and Hockey Agent courses, Michael turned his education into a powerful launchpad, quickly establishing himself in the competitive world of player representation.

He has represented clients in the QMJHL Drafts and maintains strong relationships throughout professional and amateur hockey circles. A former player himself, Michael represented Team Canada at the ISBHF Ball Hockey World Championships. His personal investment in the game runs deep—as the parent of a former elite amateur, collegiate, and minor pro goaltender, he combines strategic expertise with a deep personal understanding of the player journey, making him a trusted advocate for athletes and their families

In his new role, Michael Collier will guide SMWW’s hockey agent advisors and athletes around the world, offering strategic insights, mentorship, and representation built on trust and dedication.
